1. 11th Annual Party in the Park:

Join us for a fun filled day at Veteran’s Memorial Park on August 12, 2023. Whether you love volleyball, cars, or music this is the event for you! This event is sponsored by the City of Great Bend and is a way to say thank you to the community. It's a great way to celebrate the end of summer and have some fun with your family and friends.

2. Fridays on Forest:

This free outdoor concert series runs from April to October on the last Friday of each month at Forest Park. The next concert is happening August 25, 2023. It is free to attend, however any donations collected will go to Great Bend Alive to help promote economic development and cultural enrichment in Great Bend.

3. Adams Apple Festival:

Barton County Fairgrounds is the place to be on August, 26, 2023. This festival celebrates the Adams apple, a type of apple grown in the Great Bend area. As a family friendly event this festival features a parade, carnival, live music, food vendors, and more!

4. Rolling Sculpture Car Show:

Head over to the Barton County Historical Society Museum and Village for the Rolling Sculpture Car Show on August 27, 2023. You’ll be able to enjoy some of the most beautiful and unique cars in the area along with food, drinks, and car related merchandise. This family friendly event runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
